The church was built in 1891. The church is built from forked stones, a belfry, cornices, door and window frames are built from red bricks. There are 250 seats in the church that are arranged in a cross, which is 56 feet long and 21 feet wide. The belfry is 50 feet high. On 8th April 1894, Heir, Tsesarevich and Grand Duke of Russia, Nicholas Alexandrovich, married his wife, the duchess Alice Gesensk at this church. This event encouraged many locals to convert to Orthodox religion. Wall and ceiling paintings, as well as an  iconostasis can be seen in the church. An architectural  monument of local importance.
