The earliest evidence of Tīnūži in historical sources dates back to the 16th century. The manor was managed by several families: von Rozens, von Tiesenhausens, and till the end of the WWI it was managed by the family of von Volfs. During the Independence battles, the headquarters of the 4th Infantry Regiment of Valmiera was located here. In 1932, the manor was managed by the Disabled Latvian Veterans Association. A manor house was destroyed during the WWII, but later a new building was built on its foundation. The majority of the manor buildings have remained till nowadays. Visitors are offered to see the household buildings of the manor, the old  brewery, and the steward's house built in the early 20th century. Today the building is renovated, and it is a home for a pre-primary education institution. The manor is an architectural monument of local importance.
